And incidentally, I think the publicity this has received is great. Lots of young JWs on FB are commenting on this - it's a great opportunity for them to discuss false prophecies without raising the apostate alert.

1994 was 80 years from 1914 so at one time it would have been the maximum period of time considered a generation.

Of course, now we have the elastic generation...

To be fair though, I don't remember the WBTS ever actually saying anything about 1994.

my brotherinlaw a former bethelite just partook of the emblems for the first time this year and yes he does have a history of depression and mental health problems and is on medication so i believe that statement by the watchtower is correct

I agree, I also know someone with mental health problems who started partaking.

I wonder why there are so many mentally unstable people in the borg?
